Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP): A Natural and Effective Solution for Skin Rejuvenation, Hair Loss and Wound Healing

PRP, which stands for Platelet Rich Plasma, is an increasingly popular method of skin rejuvenation. It involves the use of a patient’s own blood enriched with clot cells and platelets to create a plasma application. This approach is used to treat a variety of conditions, including hair loss, skin rejuvenation, pain relief and orthopedic diseases.

How Does the Process Work?

The PRP procedure involves drawing blood from the patient’s body and separating it from plasma. The plasma is then injected back into the body to treat various conditions such as scars and stretch marks. The treatment is completely natural and no foreign substances are used.

What are the Benefits?

An important benefit of PRP is its effectiveness in treating wounds on the legs of diabetic patients, which tend to heal slowly. PRP has also been used in the treatment of varicose veins, tendon injuries and implants. With only 3-4 sessions, it can provide rejuvenation, eliminate wrinkles, add shine to the skin and prevent hair loss. This hair treatment method is especially effective in cases of genetic hair loss. Approximately 10cc of blood is taken from the patient and this blood is then separated into white and red blood cells. The red blood cells are then re-injected into the person, promoting tissue regeneration. The treatment takes about 3-4 months for hair and patients receive a half-hour treatment at 15-day intervals. Importantly, patients do not feel pain during the procedure.
